SPIRITUAL
DIRECTION If you have a problem, difficulty, something
you are trying to come to grips with, this may be a way
of helping you find a way through. The person who guides
you (usually called a 'Spiritual Director') does not have
the answers, nor give solutions or talks about themselves.
But the Director does listen quietly, asks open, sometimes
probing questions and tries to help you see your circumstance
from a different view. The end result (hopefully) is that
you have a greater sense of integration in your life.
A
Sacred Space This site has been created by the Jesuits
to help you pray. S. Ignatius of Loyola, founder of the
Jesuits, is one of the great Spiritual Guides of the Christian
Tradition.
Approaches
to Prayer - making prayer and spirituality accessible
Affirming
Catholicism exists to promote the
riches of the Catholic tradition throughout the Church
and to further the Christian mission. It affirms lay and
ordained people in Church government, and both men and
women in the three-fold ministry
Society
of Catholic Priests An International Society open
to all priests who accept: 1. That we belong to the one
Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church, ordaining men and
women to serve as Deacons, Priests and Bishops in the
Church of God. 2. The Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist.
3. The use and practice of the seven Sacraments of the
Church.
Inclusive
Church affirms that the Church's mission, in obedience
to Holy Scripture, is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ
in every generation. This is Good News for people regardless
of their sex, race or sexual orientation.
SABEEL
is an ecumenical, grassroots movement among Palestinian
Christians seeking to deepen their faith, promote unity
and lead to action for justice and peace. It seeks to develop
a spirituality based on the theology of liberation and non-violence
and works for reconciliation for the different communities
in Israel/Palestine. The word 'SABEEL' is Arabic for "the
way" and also for a "spring" of life-giving water.
